It's becoming one of "those" kind of days recently. There's a lot on my plate and I feel like I'm kind of distant from reality. Like, if you existed, but you weren't able to be acknowledged or interacted with. It's going to rain, which will help me relax a bunch, most definitely. I love the rain because it helps me alot. There's been s much to do; work, music, family, and money. And it all just seems to happen at once and it's really hard to manage, but at the end of the day, it is your will that keeps you going. So, no matter how bleak it gets or how low of a day it is for me, I have to get back up. They say you have to hit rock bottom to start moving up. Well.... *straps on climbing gear* Let's do this.

First Post and Intro

Starting off a blog, because I feel like this will be something more in-depth of what I want to do with my social media networks, but can't because character limits. So, to get things started off right, let me introduce myself:

Hi! I'm Dani and I compose music under the alias magicalDANI13. I am a 23 year old geeky guy that enjoys deep conversations and lots of video games and lots of music. I was inspired to compose by Utada Hikaru who is literally everything. Thanks!~ <3

THE NAME

The name magicalDANI13(MDXIII) in itself stands for the essence of magical experiences and moments that I like to capture and portray in my music. I want people to feel the emotions I felt and have the adventures just via sound.  DANI is obviously my name, but it stands for 4 things: Dreams, Atmosphere, Nature, and Imagination which are usually the subjects of my music, but I also expand beyond those things when I'm feeling experimental. And lastly the number 13(sometimes written as XIII). I hate numbers in my names, but 13 is very important to me. It's the date I was born on in the month of March, which is kinda ironic, because March is a lucky month and 13 is supposedly an unlucky number, but I find alot of luck from it, personally!

THE SOUND

The music I compose ranges from something free and atmospheric and dreamy to something heavy, fast and dark. I compose worlds and experiences via sound and to be honest it's really difficult to put a genre on it. I just settle for electronic mainly because I use alot of electronic/trance/dance/electro influences in my music, oe of my main influences being Yasutaka Nakata from 'capsule'. I mostly focus on cosmic-ish sounds that focus on space and drifting, but I also like to experiment and make something dancey so it always changes.
